Core to Jessica's lesson curriculum are the recitals. Recitals are a way for students to show their family, extended family and friends the fruits of their hard work. Some recitals take place in concert halls in the city, while others take place at the homes of some students. Each year Jessica puts on three recitals and requires that her students participate in at least two of them. Students usually prepare two songs, or one longer song. Recitals occur in the Fall, Spring, and early Summer.
